An Italian public foundation committed to healthcare and translational medicine has developed a new ex vivo expansion system based on a proper mixture of cytokines in an animal-free medium that defines optimal culture conditions able either to expand and maintain stem cells and to amplify progenitor cells from different cell sources. The Foundation is looking for industrial partners interested in co-development and production of the new system under joint venture and/or technical co-operations.
